Physicians

All Lubbock Heart Surgery physicians are fully trained, highly skilled, and board certified through the American Board of Medical Specialties. This level of expertise requires years of medical education and training through accredited medical schools, residency programs, and/or fellowships. This education and training continues throughout their professional careers to sharpen skills, develop specialties, and maintain licenses, certifications, and health care privileges. Please select a physician from the pull down menu above to review our physicians' full biographies and credentials.

Non-Physician Practitioners

Lubbock Heart Surgery employs nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed surgical assistants, and surgical technicians to assist our physicians in the delivery of care to our patients. Like our physicians, these professionals are fully trained and highly skilled. Registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and licensed surgical assistants maintain licenses and/or certificates with the State of Texas. Additionally, nurse practitioners maintain licenses and certifications with federal agencies. Nurse practitioners and licensed surgical assistants are credentialed as providers with many insurance plans as well as the health care facilities where we provide patient services. All these professionals collaborate with and are fully supervised by our physicians.
